I once read a short article about how to expand one’s photography skills. The author recommended locking oneself in a bathroom for 15 minutes. And during that time, to shoot many photos from different perspectives. I wasn’t convinced that would work for me, mostly because I often have too much energy to sit or stand still for long. I did however, take the author’s ideas to heart and that has shaped my approach to everything I look at. I’m farily certain that anyone who casually sees me inspecting things, whether with camera in-hand or not, must think I’ve lost my mind….or perhaps a contact lens.
I’ve taken more than one photo of this pole over a 2 year period but feel this one looks the best. I’m certain I increased the shadows in Lightroom.
