My former neighbor, Sammy walked into my yard one afternoon holding a plastic pot which contained a houseplant she had been keeping on her porch. She knew of my love of photography because she had seen me out shooting around my yard for several years. She was right in concluding I’d love to shoot this Monarch Chrysalis. The gold band is stunning and the water drops are a bonus too.
