Taken in April when the cherry trees bloomed where I lived (York County Pennsylvania).
The trick with taking photos of blooming cherry trees is when you see the tree in bloom you must stop and take the photo. It almost always rains that night or the following day – causing all the blooms to drop.
Blooming cherry trees are a beautiful, brief moment in time. They are spectacular to see and must be enjoyed right then, in the moment.
Shot on a Canon 5DSR with a 135mL lens, 1/320th of a second at f10.
