This photo is one of eight exposures taken in rapid succession using a macro lens.
It was only upon looking more closely at one of the eight exposures that I could see two insects stacked one on top of one another.
In the other seven exposures, taken over the four or five second duration that the bee was gathering nectar, the smaller insects weren’t visible.
I feel very fortunate to have held the shutter down AND also for having been able to use a tool like Adobe Lightroom to look even more closely.
For some people, the clover plant is a nuisance in their yard. But I have found there are treasures to be had when one looks more closely at these small flowers.
For someone who doesn’t have a macro lens, a good quality glass magnifier will help to reveal a new world of life and beauty in a very small area of lawn.
