One Friday in June 2024 a small town in America celebrated with a Veterans and First Responders Parade featuring the Budweiser Clydesdales.
The date was June 28, 2024 and the town was Dallastown, PA. It was my town for close to 20 years. This parade took place a mere two weeks before I moved with my family to a farm we purchased in Ohio.
The parade featured the Budweiser Clydesdales, and they were splendid to see.
However, the purpose of the parade was to honor our veterans and first responders. I enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces aboard the fire trucks, people who daily keep this community safe. Together with the opportunity to honor those who have served our country.
It felt for us like a fitting end to our time in this town.
